The Technical University of Lisbon's seminar series on Probability and Statistics is a joint effort of four of the university's schools: FMH, ISA, ISEG and IST. It is born out of the necessity for a venue that stimulates and promotes the interaction between our university's statisticians and applied probabilists on the one hand, and between these researchers and subject-matter specialists on the other. We aim at inviting speakers that produce solid methodologic research motivated by important applied problems. The seminars are open to the general public. No sessions currently scheduled. |
